Starbucks unveils Last Hour 50 per cent discount to tackle food waste

Coffee giant Starbucks is to offer a discount of up to 50 per cent on certain products in the final hour of the day in an attempt to prevent food waste and support a hunger charity.

The Last Hour initiative has been trialled in Manchester and will now be extended nationwide, with all proceeds made from the items going to Action Against Hunger, a humanitarian organisation specialising in child malnourishment.
