Compostable MATER-BI food service products are the ideal solution for collective and commercial catering, events, and catering services, making waste management easier, especially in situations where washing and reusing traditional tableware is not feasible or practical. The MATER-BI food service range includes cutlery, cups, plates, bowls, straws, dessert cups and spoons, and cup lids.
All compostable MATER-BI food service products are food contact safe and heat resistant.
The compostable plates are microwave-safe, while the cutlery, made with a new grade of MATER-BI, offers enhanced impact and pressure resistance without breaking or cracking, ensuring practical and safe use even under heavy-duty conditions.
Thanks to their biodegradability and compostability, MATER-BI compostable food service products can be disposed of in organic waste collection and sent to composting facilities for organic recycling.
All MATER-BI food service applications contain at least 60% renewable raw materials, in compliance with current regulations.
